I’m Kayla Redd , I got started in music industry a couple months ago a really close person of mine heard me play rap and made me rap for real
How would you describe your style of music?
My style of music is gangsta girly , im gangsta as a mug but i still make it relatable for the girls
How do you put words to paper? What’s your creative process like?
My creative process starts with a random bar that comes to my head that i think hard and i go from there. i write a small amount at a time so every part hard and relatable, i want people to be able to use my lyrics as captions , etc
When it comes to performing, what’s your style?
I never performed before i just started rapping about 5 months ago
If you could perform anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
If i could perform anywhere in the world it’d be the whole world , i wanna see it all, experience it all
What’s your favourite project so far, and why?
I’m working on my debut project right now , but my favorite thing about it is finding myself and my style . I’m experimenting on different flows. But i haven’t made a bad song yet!
How do you see your sound evolving in the next couple of years?
In the next couple years , well really next year and a half my sound is gonna be taking over charts , im going to be as big as Cardi B if you ask me. but i’m going to be big, Real big.
Who are your biggest musical influences? Would you say you’re at all like them?
My biggest inspiration in music right now is Glorilla without a doubt . I love how she capitalized off being unique. She’s taking over right now she run this music right now. I wouldn’t compare myself i don’t compare people , we all different, you know
When driving, is there a certain track that has you blasting the stereo with the windows down?
When i’m driving i gotta listen to 3 songs , Cousins by King Von , In Loving Memory Nwm Cee Murdaa , & Her Karma2zz
Which artists do you think you would harmonise best with?
I’ll harmonize best with Asian Doll Glorilla and Sexyy Red
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
If i could collaborate with any artist it’d be Monaleo or Glorilla , either one of them and me on a song? Too hard.
